Our end-of-year testing window starts April 12 and ends May 14th. In the past we had a shorter window and most of the testing was done within the first week. However, with online testing only one class can be in the computer lab at any given time, so the testing is spread out over a longer period of time and throughout the day. The first week we will focus on IEP students with accommodations. The main focus for whole class testing will be from April 19th through May 7th.
Teachers have covered all core concepts, and students have reviewed and practiced for these tests. This is not a time for students to feel pressured, but rather confident and assured that they will do fine.
Helps for Parents
Avoiding unnecessary absences, seeing that students get enough sleep, and starting the day with a positive attitude are great ways to insure your child’s success in performing his/her best.
